Supplemental pay types:
Qualifications:
- LPN Diploma.
- Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current First Aid & Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification.
- Minimum of one 1 year experience in a Licensed Practical Nurse role would be an asset for this position.
- Vulnerable Sector Check, Including a Criminal Background Check (Within Six Months).

Duties & Skills:
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to meet the needs of patients.
- Develop & Implement nursing care plans.
- Provide safe, ethical, and competent nursing care.
- Departments include but not limited to: General Med, Med/Surg, LTC, Mental Health.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in addition to being able to identify the most appropriate method of communication.
- Comfortable and experienced working with marginalized and vulnerable populations.
- Ability to organize time, multi-task and set priorities to meet various deadlines and maintain a flexible schedule.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Strong listening, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
