Job Types: Flexible and Fixed Term Contract

Schedules:

  • 12 hour shifts
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Bonuses

Qualifications:
Minimum of one 1 year experience in a Registered Nurse role would be an asset
Current First Aid & Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Registered Psychiatric Nurse and current RN registration license
Vulnerable Sector Check, Including a Criminal Background Check (Within Six Months)

Duties & Skills:

  • To work collaboratively in a patient centered, integrated team based primary care practice setting.
  • To participate in the care of individual patients, practice populations and associated communities.
  • To take on a solution-focused, goal-directed approach with clinical patients.
  • To assist in development of brief intervention strategies with clinical patients.
  • To make professional, competent and autonomous decisions with patients as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
  • To act as a resource to other multidisciplinary team members, healthcare institutions and community agencies or programs.
  • To ensure accurate, objective and timely clinical documentation in the appropriate medical record.
